0:00 · Trump administration wants$ 1.5 trillion dollars in defense. Uh this is the no war candidate. We already over the past I want to say four or five years have added 400 billion. We've almost doubled the defense budget in the past like um I want to say six, seven years. Certainly under Biden we also increased it dramatically. But they want to double it again. And you know they're serious about it because Pete Hgsith made a video in front of a green screen.

0:31 · Look at how he's standing here. It's a very normal way to stand here. Sir, he looks like he's hung on a door hook.

0:38 · Go ahead. Play some of this.

0:40 · A broken Pentagon bureaucracy was doing the same thing for decades. When our war fighters needed more weapons, aircraft, and ships, the Department of Defense allowed contractors to double dip at your expense. They charge you, the taxpayer, to build their factories and then charge you again for the final product. And despite paying companies to make weapons faster, schedule delays were constant and cost overruns were the norm. All while their CEOs got rich.

1:16 · But today, President Trump's war department is flipping this rigged system on its head.

1:22 · President Trump lost. We're not tolerating delays in production or cost overruns anymore. We've pushed out the bureaucrats who've made these deals in the past in the private sector.

1:34 · They're a group of businessmen.

1:37 · They love their masks.

1:39 · Also, the CEO fat cat thing, does that play with his audience?

1:43 · Well, that's the thing. And um I mean, we don't need to really watch any more of this, frankly. Uh the CEO fat cat that they they They apparently everybody has gotten the word you must absolutely must talk about affordability and saving. I mean this is their going to be their big push.

2:02 · Well, it's their faux populism. He's pretending as if the Republican party is in some way in opposition to weapons manufacturers and the CEOs of defense companies. They're talking their whole thing is going to be this anti-fraud, anti-waste push because it's, you know, sort of like a generic thing and they can make it sound populist.

2:23 · At the same time, they're saying, uh, fat cats are not going to get rich. Well, somebody's going to get that extra half a trillion dollars that you are asking for. And I wonder I wonder if it's just going to be like some working mom.

2:40 · Yes.

2:40 · Right. He gets a contract. Can you pull up this article here that I sent from the Military Times at the end of last year? Just a reminder about all of uh the waste that slushes around in the Pentagon. They cannot they can't keep track of the amount of money and all these contracts and the billions of dollars that are going to the defense contractors. Maybe it was just because of wokeness all across this time period.

3:07 · Even during Trump's first term, Pentagon fails financial audit for eighth year in a row. Let's reward them by doubling their budget. As we talk about government wa waste and inefficiency, it's insane. Uh do you think Prager you did the production on that?

3:29 · I there is absolutely the whole thing about how we're not going to double dip on contracts. There is absolutely 100% no doubt in my mind that a friend of Pete Hexith got the contract to do that ad.

3:45 · Like that was not done in like somebody got a taste from that. It's just the way that it is. Maybe Pete Hegsmith has his own like cartoon production company now.

3:55 · And uh they who knows, you know, Pete Hegith is really ideologically opposed to the fat cat CEOs that are getting rich in the past from the Pentagon. So I will hope that if he's not in jail that he is not going to accept some sort of contractor board seat from one of these defense contractors once he leaves office, right? Like that would be really hypocritical based on how he's presented himself here.

4:20 · Uh he's a warrior. He's not going to do that.

4:23 · Yeah.

4:23 · So is the logic that Sean Duffy, this is Brian told me this too. In terms of like corruption and double dipping, Sean Duffy the whole time he's been transportation secretary seems like seems it seems like a pretty big job. Uh because transportation secretary I mean you know uh we had all those crashes remember in the first year the um miss plane and now we have jet fuel shortages and Spirit Airlines went out of business so abruptly that they left people stranded on a Saturday night at the airports.

5:00 · When you hear this about Shawn Duffy, it starts to make things seem like it's I mean, you have to I think you have to have some empathy and understand the stress he's been under.

5:14 · Um Brian, you've worked in uh showbiz.

5:19 · I have also worked in showbiz. I did a fake uh reality show. It was extremely stressful. Um, and so before anybody starts picking on Shawn Duffy for not doing his job, you should be aware. Do we have uh uh Can we put this up?

5:35 · Yeah, we got it.

5:36 · You should be aware that uh Shawn Duffy has other things he's been doing. Go ahead.

5:43 · 50th anniversary is fast approaching.

5:45 · And what better way to celebrate our beautiful country than to see our beautiful country.

5:49 · The Duffy family is doing just that.

5:51 · embarking on a great American road trip to rediscover our great nation.

5:58 · I think Mud's kind of mad.

5:59 · I know.

6:01 · We're not going to fight on this trip. Put your seat belts on.

6:04 · So, we're inviting you along with our family on the Great American Road Trip. Stop scrolling and hit the road mile by mile, window down and hearts wide open.

6:15 · Welcome to Montana.

6:18 · They've got tons of kids. I think they have like 11 kids.

6:20 · Nine. nine or 11 something there. Who is there a difference?

6:28 · Wow. And guess who's here? The duck.

6:30 · So Sean as transportation secretary. I assume this was your idea. So I want to lean into America's 250th birthday. Rachel and I actually met on a road trip on a reality TV show.

6:41 · And so over the course of 7 months, we just kind of found these moments where I might be able to do some work. I could take the kids with me, do a road trip. And our motto is to love America is to see America and there's so much to see in this beautiful country. You know, we did that. I don't want to care about watching this anymore.

7:00 · The the the the idea that his job at the beginning of a new administration is uh loose enough that I was able to actually travel the entire country with my family while we did this.

7:13 · Planes were falling out of the sky, right? He I mean maybe they're just trying to demonstrate that with all of these flight cancellations due the jet fuel shortages that you're going to maybe have to be driving across the country if you want to get to your vacation.

7:28 · And actually the way that you do this is you all fly in on a government paid uh flight and then you hop into the rent a car that's there because God forbid you had to drive anywhere across state lines. you would be so broke uh by that first like uh uh 250 mi right now. I mean, gas is so expensive and this guy's doing aing reality show while he's in government. This is just shocking.

7:58 · I mean, they're all podcasting. Why does it matter?

8:01 · Straight out of central casting at Sean Duffy.

8:04 · Yes. Right.

8:06 · Hey, you nailed the show. I mean, you know what happened here. You know what happened here, right? Like Duffy sees Christy Gnome, like wait a second.

8:15 · She's doing that $200 million uh um film. Uh I want a taste of that.

8:21 · I'm going to go do a reality show. This is going to be great.

8:25 · Former reality star transportation secretary.

8:29 · What happens next is going to blow your mind. Dude, road trip. He gets a new lease on life because reality TV stars of that ilk of like the real world people. You know, you age out of the drinking, partying kind of reality TV lifestyle. You can't live in a big house with everybody like they do in the real world. He's got a family now, so he gets to do what he originally was passionate about, being on camera for reality television purposes.

8:58 · Hexath would have done it, but he didn't want to show his breathalyzer on a steering wheel. Babe, blowing this real quick. We're doing a road trip. I guess I can't go.

9:13 · It would look too girly if you were driving, so I guess I can't go. I tried to blow into the uh my car won't start unless I unless I get a.3 or under. So, I can't I can't go. This just unlocked a childhood memory of mine where someone had that on their steering wheel and had me blow into it before.

9:36 · Pild says like, "Can you imagine if Pete Budajage went on a created a TV show going on the road while he was transportation secretary about his family?"

9:50 · Well, never mind that. That would be I mean that would be that there would be trials. Um, but I if any like Biden official had done anything even remotely like this, uh, it would be 6 months of news reports, you know, Jake Tapper would be doing like investigate, you know, like he would be, uh, interviewing all the people that at the gas stations where they stopped and at the diners and what what what were their what was their demeanor like? And uh did they indicate that somehow they were using government uh they use a government credit card? I mean it's just unbelievable.

10:27 · Well, it is very uh the Trump administration to get to trends like this like as reality TV is a completely dying medium because social media has undercut like the ability for these companies to have control of the narratives and reality TV stars want more money and stuff like that. Now they're getting into reality TV just like Katie Miller's getting into podcasting now that the market's completely saturated. I I I would have to bet that that that's all taxpayer funded.

10:53 · Yeah, but the Duffies were really good. They only took uh x amount of money and oh, also they were sponsored. They uh used their Trump gold coins and crypto to buy everything.
