I think what most indie devs miss is—finding your audience. They go all in on the app, but forget to actually sit down and think. Who's gonna use my app? How tech savvy is that audience? What will they want from my app? We just go straight into targetting everyone without research. Which honestly, results in nothing but failure. Because it doesn't appeal to the audience who want your app. It doesn't have what your users want. It isn't accessible for your users. We should start thinking more about our apps before building them. Thats what sets apart a builder from a vibecoder. Anyone can code now a days. Very few can build something that works.

Sure, tell my story! lol Nowhere near $100k/mo... not even $15k/mo... but was stuck at ≈$1200/mo for a while, then a slight drop, then moving back up (April was over $1700). Still got a ways to go, but moving on up!

I loved the 3 part developer playbook that you had created, but that relied a lot on ASO which based on your newer videos seems to be not working alone anymore, , it would be great to have a new indie developer playbook. because if I want to follow his steps right now and run google ads, I have to spend a lot of money to get to profitability. Life was also hard on side my, got through a divorce with 3 young kids with debt and iv'e been working on few app idea and threw few of them. Learning SEO, Ai SEO, marketing, onboarding process etc. Iv'e been working working as a software engineer for 20+ years, and i feel it's time for me to start a new episode!
